Transliteration

kuśodakādgaṃdhajalaṃ tasmāttīrthodakaṃ varam | tīrthebhyaśca jalaṃ darśe mahīsāgarasaṃbhavam

Translation

कुशोदकापेक्षा सुगंधित जल श्रेष्ठ; त्याहून तीर्थोदक अधिक उत्तम. आणि तीर्थजलांपेक्षाही अमावास्येला प्रकट होणारे, पृथ्वी व सागरातून उत्पन्न झालेले जल सर्वोत्तम मानले जाते.
