Transliteration

kṛtvaitannaśyate kīrtiryāvadācaṃdratārakam | evaṃ saṃciṃtya bahudhā gatvā caiva vanāṃtaram

Translation

“मी हे केले तर चंद्र-ताऱ्यांपर्यंत टिकणारी माझी शुभकीर्ती नष्ट होईल.” असे वारंवार चिंतन करून तो वनाच्या गहन अंतरात गेला.
