स तानचिंत्य दैत्येंद्रो देवबाणक्षतान्हृदि । बाणैर्व्योम दिशः पृथ्वीं पूरयामास दानवः
sa tānaciṃtya daityeṃdro devabāṇakṣatānhṛdi | bāṇairvyoma diśaḥ pṛthvīṃ pūrayāmāsa dānavaḥ
परंतु तो दैत्येंद्र अचिंत्यच राहिला; देवांच्या बाणांनी हृदयात जखमी होऊनही त्याने आपल्या बाणवृष्टीने आकाश, दिशा आणि पृथ्वी भरून टाकली।
