tamovṛtastu yo dadyātkrodhāttathaiva ca | bhuṃkte dāna phalaṃ taddhi garbhastho nātra saṃśayaḥ
Nārada (general dharma instruction within narration)
Scene: A donor with shadowed face (tamas) thrusts a gift in anger; the atmosphere is heavy, with dark clouds and a constricted aura around the hands, symbolizing corrupted intention and swift karmic return.
The inner motive matters: giving with tamas or anger shapes karmic results in profound and immediate ways.
None; it is a moral-psychological teaching about intention in dāna.
Avoid giving under delusion or anger; cultivate clarity and purity of mind to ensure auspicious dāna-phala.
