स नो रक्षतु गोविंदो भयार्तास्ते जगुः सुराः । सुराणां चिंतितं ज्ञात्वा भगवान्गरुडध्वजः
sa no rakṣatu goviṃdo bhayārtāste jaguḥ surāḥ | surāṇāṃ ciṃtitaṃ jñātvā bhagavāngaruḍadhvajaḥ
“गोविंद आमचे रक्षण करो”—भयाने व्याकुळ झालेले देव असे आर्तपणे म्हणाले। देवांच्या मनातील चिंता जाणून गरुडध्वज भगवान् प्रत्युत्तर देऊ लागले।
