आणि तो दैत्येश्वर क्रुद्ध होऊन महारथावर आरूढ झाला. दहा दैत्यांनी वेढलेला तो जणू दशभुज ईश्वरासारखा शोभू लागला; जणू जगाचा संहार करावयास निघाल्यासारखा तो देवांवर चाल करून गेला.
