तारक उवाच । राज्येन बुद्बुदाभेन स्त्रीभिरक्षैश्च पानकैः । मोहितो जन्म लब्ध्वात्र त्यजते पौरुषं नरः
tāraka uvāca | rājyena budbudābhena strībhirakṣaiśca pānakaiḥ | mohito janma labdhvātra tyajate pauruṣaṃ naraḥ
तारक म्हणाला—बुडबुड्यासारख्या क्षणभंगुर राज्याने, स्त्रियांमुळे, जुगाराने व मद्यपानाने मोहित होऊन मनुष्य या लोकी जन्म मिळवूनही आपला पौरुषधर्म सोडून देतो।
