वव्रे महासुरो मृत्युं ब्रह्माणं मानमोहितः । ब्रह्मा प्रोचे ततस्तं च तथेति हरवाक्यतः
vavre mahāsuro mṛtyuṃ brahmāṇaṃ mānamohitaḥ | brahmā proce tatastaṃ ca tatheti haravākyataḥ
अभिमानाने मोहून त्या महासुराने मृत्युविषयी वर ब्रह्मदेवाकडे मागितला. तेव्हा हराच्या वचनाप्रमाणे ब्रह्मदेव म्हणाले—“तथास्तु।”
