इति संचिंत्य वरय वरं यस्मान्न शंकसे । ततः संचिंत्य दैत्येंद्रः शिशुतः सप्तवासरात्

iti saṃciṃtya varaya varaṃ yasmānna śaṃkase | tataḥ saṃciṃtya daityeṃdraḥ śiśutaḥ saptavāsarāt

म्हणून विचार करून ज्याबद्दल शंका नाही असा वर माग. तेव्हा दैत्येंद्राने मनन करून सात दिवसांच्या शिशूबाबत (एक अट) ठरवली.
