किं तु तत्तपसा साध्यं मन्येहं सुरसंगमम् । तस्मादादौ करिष्यामि तपो घोरं दनोः सुताः
kiṃ tu tattapasā sādhyaṃ manyehaṃ surasaṃgamam | tasmādādau kariṣyāmi tapo ghoraṃ danoḥ sutāḥ
परंतु मला वाटते की देवसंगम तपस्येनेच साध्य होतो। म्हणून, हे दनूचे पुत्रांनो, मी प्रथम घोर तपाचे अनुष्ठान करीन।
