आहारमिच्छन्स्वां भार्यां न ददर्शाश्रमे स्वके । भार्याहीनोऽफलश्चेति स संचिंत्य इतस्ततः
āhāramicchansvāṃ bhāryāṃ na dadarśāśrame svake | bhāryāhīno'phalaśceti sa saṃciṃtya itastataḥ
आहाराची इच्छा करून तो आपल्या आश्रमात स्वतःची पत्नी पाहू शकला नाही. ‘पत्नीविना मी निष्फळ’ असे मानून तो इकडे-तिकडे वारंवार विचार करू लागला.
