अग्निरूपेण तस्याश्च स ददाह महाश्रमम् । चकर्ष वायुरूपेण महोग्रेण च तां शुभाम् । एवं सिहवृकाद्याभिर्भीषिकाभिः पुनःपुनः
agnirūpeṇa tasyāśca sa dadāha mahāśramam | cakarṣa vāyurūpeṇa mahogreṇa ca tāṃ śubhām | evaṃ sihavṛkādyābhirbhīṣikābhiḥ punaḥpunaḥ
अग्निरूपाने त्याने तिचा महान आश्रम जाळून टाकला; आणि अतिभयंकर वायुरूप धारण करून त्या शुभ स्त्रीला ओढून नेले. अशा रीतीने सिंह, लांडगा इत्यादी भयानक विभीषिकांनी तो वारंवार तिचा संकल्प ढळवू पाहत होता।
