mahīnāma samutpannā deśe mālavakābhidhe | dakṣiṇaṃ sāgaraṃ prāptā puṇyobhayataṭāśivā
‘मालवक’ नावाच्या देशात ‘मही’ नदी उत्पन्न झाली; दक्षिण सागरास जाऊन मिळून ती दोन्ही तटांवर पुण्यदायी व शिवमंगलमयी आहे।
