उग्रश्रवा उवाच । श्रृणुध्वचत्यद्भुतपुण्यसत्कथं कुमारनाथस्य महाप्रभावम् । द्वैपायनो यन्मम चाह पूर्वं हर्षाबुरोमोद्गमचर्चितांगः
ugraśravā uvāca | śrṛṇudhvacatyadbhutapuṇyasatkathaṃ kumāranāthasya mahāprabhāvam | dvaipāyano yanmama cāha pūrvaṃ harṣāburomodgamacarcitāṃgaḥ
उग्रश्रवा (सूत) म्हणाला—कुमारनाथाच्या महाप्रभावाची ही अद्भुत, पुण्य आणि सत्कथा ऐका. पूर्वी द्वैपायन (व्यास) यांनी मला ती सांगितली, तेव्हा माझे अंग हर्षरोमांचाने चिन्हांकित झाले होते।
