अपुत्रिण स्तथा रूक्षास्तेजोहीना द्विजोत्तमाः । भारद्वाजसगोत्रेयाः प्रवरैः पंचभिर्युताः
aputriṇa stathā rūkṣāstejohīnā dvijottamāḥ | bhāradvājasagotreyāḥ pravaraiḥ paṃcabhiryutāḥ
तसेच द्विजोत्तमांपैकी काही अपुत्रिक, रूक्ष स्वभावाचे व तेजहीन असतात. ते भारद्वाज गोत्रातील असून पाच प्रवरांनी युक्त मानले जातात.
