स्कंद उवाच । किं कार्यं देव देवानां यत्त्वमाहूयसे त्वरम् । वृषं त्यक्त्वा कृपासिंधो कृपास्ति यदि मे वद
skaṃda uvāca | kiṃ kāryaṃ deva devānāṃ yattvamāhūyase tvaram | vṛṣaṃ tyaktvā kṛpāsiṃdho kṛpāsti yadi me vada
स्कंद म्हणाला—हे देव! देवांचे असे कोणते कार्य आहे की तुला इतक्या त्वरेने बोलावले जाते? हे कृपासिंधो! वृषभही सोडून—माझ्यावर कृपा असेल तर मला सांग.
