Transliteration

phalairviśālairākīrṇaṃ skaṃdhakāṃḍādiśobhitam | phalaughāḍhyo jaṭāyukto nyagro dho viṭapo mahān

Translation

तो विशाल फळांनी भरलेला, खोड-फांद्या इत्यादींनी शोभित, फळगुच्छांनी समृद्ध, लोंबत्या जटांनी युक्त असा महान् न्यग्रोध (वट) वृक्ष होता।
