पूर्वर्द्धिभिः परित्यक्तमात्मानं नावमानयेत् । सदोद्यमवतां यस्माच्छ्रियो विद्या न दुर्लभाः
pūrvarddhibhiḥ parityaktamātmānaṃ nāvamānayet | sadodyamavatāṃ yasmācchriyo vidyā na durlabhāḥ
पूर्वीची समृद्धी जरी दूर झाली तरी स्वतःचा अवमान करू नये; कारण जे सदैव उद्योगी असतात, त्यांना श्री व विद्या दुर्लभ नसतात।
