pūrṇimāyāṃ tathāṣṭamyāṃ viḍvare rāṣṭraviplave | upākarmaṇi cotsarge kalpādiṣu yugādiṣu

Translation

पौर्णिमा व अष्टमीला, तसेच आपत्ती व राष्ट्रविप्लवकाळी; उपाकर्म व उत्सर्गकर्मात, आणि कल्प-युगांच्या आरंभी—या सर्व वेळीही वेदाध्ययन टाळावे।
