ब्राह्मणं प्राहुरतिथिं संपूज्य शक्तितो बुधैः । न पृछेत्तत्राचरणं स्वाध्यायं चापि पंडितः
brāhmaṇaṃ prāhuratithiṃ saṃpūjya śaktito budhaiḥ | na pṛchettatrācaraṇaṃ svādhyāyaṃ cāpi paṃḍitaḥ
बुधजन ब्राह्मणालाच ‘अतिथी’ म्हणतात. त्याची शक्तीनुसार पूजा करून, पंडित गृहस्थाने तेथे त्याचे आचरण किंवा स्वाध्याय याविषयी चौकशी करू नये.
