ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । उपास्ते यश्च लिखितं रक्तपादैस्तु वाडवाः । ज्ञातिश्रेष्ठः स विज्ञेयो वलिर्देयस्ततः परम्
brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | upāste yaśca likhitaṃ raktapādaistu vāḍavāḥ | jñātiśreṣṭhaḥ sa vijñeyo valirdeyastataḥ param
ब्राह्मण म्हणाले—वाडवांनी रक्तपाद (लाल चरणचिन्ह) सहित लिहिलेल्या त्या लेख्याचे जो पूजन करतो, तोच ज्ञातिंमध्ये श्रेष्ठ समजावा; त्यानंतर बलि (अर्पण) द्यावी।
