यम उवाच । एवमस्त्विति तां प्राह चान्यं वरय सत्वरम् । ददामि वरमुत्कृष्टं गानेन तोषितोस्म्यहम्
yama uvāca | evamastviti tāṃ prāha cānyaṃ varaya satvaram | dadāmi varamutkṛṣṭaṃ gānena toṣitosmyaham
यम म्हणाले—“एवमस्तु.” मग तिला म्हणाले—“लवकर दुसरा वर माग. तुझ्या गानाने मी संतुष्ट झालो आहे; मी तुला उत्तम वर देईन.”
