Type: kund
Listener: Bhūpati / king (addressed)
Scene: Pilgrims bathe in a stone-lined kuṇḍa at dawn; nearby stands a Śiva-liṅga shrine of Indreśvara. After bathing, devotees offer bilva, water, and lamps; a formerly fever-stricken devotee appears calm and radiant.
A sacred bath, when joined with devotion and worship, purifies the person and removes suffering—here symbolized by fever.
The Indreśvara-related sacred kuṇḍa/tīrtha within the Dharmāraṇya Khaṇḍa narrative.
Perform snāna (bathing) in the sacred waters and then do deva-pūjā (worship of the Lord).
