ब्रह्मापि तपसा युक्तस्तेपे वर्षशतत्रयम् । तिष्ठन्नेव पुरो विष्णोर्विष्णुमायाविमोहितः
brahmāpi tapasā yuktastepe varṣaśatatrayam | tiṣṭhanneva puro viṣṇorviṣṇumāyāvimohitaḥ
ब्रह्माही तपयुक्त होऊन तीनशे वर्षे तप करीत राहिले—विष्णूच्या समोर उभे असूनही, विष्णुमायेने ते मोहित-भ्रमितच राहिले।
