दुस्तरे दुरितांभोधौ मज्जतां विषयात्मनाम् । शिवपूजां विना कश्चित्प्लवो नास्ति निरूपितः
dustare duritāṃbhodhau majjatāṃ viṣayātmanām | śivapūjāṃ vinā kaścitplavo nāsti nirūpitaḥ
दुस्तर पापसमुद्रात विषयासक्त लोक बुडत असतात; शिवपूजेविना कोणतीही नौका (उद्धाराचे साधन) ठरविली गेलेली नाही.
