शुश्राव सत्कथां साध्वीं कैवल्यफल दायिनी । स उवाच द्विजस्तस्यै कथां वैराग्यबृंहिताम्

śuśrāva satkathāṃ sādhvīṃ kaivalyaphala dāyinī | sa uvāca dvijastasyai kathāṃ vairāgyabṛṃhitām

तिने कैवल्यफल देणारी पवित्र साध्वी सत्कथा ऐकली. मग त्या द्विजाने तिला वैराग्याने पुष्ट अशी उपदेशकथा सांगितली.
