महापातकवर्णनम् (Mahāpātaka-varṇanam) — “Description of Great Sins and Their Consequences”
न ब्रवीति च यः सत्यं न प्रदानं करोति च । अशुचिर्वाऽशुचिस्थाने यः प्रवक्ति शृणोति च
na bravīti ca yaḥ satyaṃ na pradānaṃ karoti ca | aśucirvā'śucisthāne yaḥ pravakti śṛṇoti ca
जो सत्य बोलत नाही व दान करत नाही; जो स्वतः अशुचि आहे किंवा अशुचि ठिकाणी पवित्र कथा सांगतो-ऐकतो—तो शिवाचारातून पतित होऊन उच्च साधनेस अयोग्य ठरतो।
