तयोस्सकाशं यास्यामि न मे धर्मे रुचिर्भवेत् । एवमुक्त्वा सती सा तु मित्रावरुणयोस्ततः

tayossakāśaṃ yāsyāmi na me dharme rucirbhavet | evamuktvā satī sā tu mitrāvaruṇayostataḥ

“मी त्या दोघांकडे जाईन; या धर्मात मला रुची नाही.” असे बोलून ती सती तेथून मित्र व वरुण यांच्याकडे निघाली.
