सूत म्हणाले—वैवस्वत मनूचे नऊ पुत्र होते; सर्व पराक्रमात समान होते. पुढे ते धीर, अत्युच्च आणि क्षत्रधर्मपालनात परायण झाले.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
It establishes a dharmic lineage: noble rule and disciplined conduct are presented as supportive conditions for spiritual order, within which devotion to Śiva (Pati) can flourish and lead beings beyond bondage (pāśa).
By praising kṣatriya-dharma—protection of subjects, restraint, and courage—the verse frames worldly governance as service aligned to Saguna Śiva’s sustaining power; such righteous living becomes a foundation for Linga-worship and Shaiva vows.
The implied takeaway is dharma-supported bhakti: maintain disciplined conduct and add daily Śiva-smaraṇa such as japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) as a steady practice.
