क्लीबम्वा दुरवस्थम्वा व्याधितं वृद्धमेव च । सुखितं दुःखितं वापि पतिमेकं न लंघयेत्
klībamvā duravasthamvā vyādhitaṃ vṛddhameva ca | sukhitaṃ duḥkhitaṃ vāpi patimekaṃ na laṃghayet
पती नपुंसक असो, दुर्दशेत असो, रोगी वा वृद्ध असो—सुखी असो वा दुःखी—पतिव्रता स्त्रीने एकमेव पतीचा अतिक्रम करू नये; त्याच्याशीच निष्ठावान राहावे।

Significance: Uses unwavering fidelity as a dharma-ideal; in Śaiva Siddhānta ethical framing, such niṣṭhā (steadfastness) supports purity of mind (citta-śuddhi) that becomes fit for Śiva-bhakti and, ultimately, anugraha.
