Sukta 8.35
सर्गाँ इव सृजतं सुष्टुतीरुप श्यावाश्वस्य सुन्वतो मदच्युता । सजोषसा उषसा सूर्येण चाश्विना तिरोअह्न्यम् ॥
sárgāṃ iva sṛjataṃ suṣṭutī́r úpa śyāvā́śvasya sunvató mada-cyutā | sajóṣasā uṣásā sū́ryeṇa cā́śvinā tiroáhnyam ||
हे मदच्युता अश्विनौ, सर्ग (प्रवाह) जसे वाहतात तसे सु-स्तुती तुमच्याकडे प्रवाहित होऊ द्या—सोम पिळणाऱ्या श्यावाश्वाच्या या स्तुती. उषा व सूर्य यांच्यासह सजोशसा (एकरूप होऊन), दिवसाच्या तिरोअह्न्य (आवरण/पडदे) यांतून मार्ग काढत या, हे अश्विनौ.
