Sukta 7.95
इमा जुह्वाना युष्मदा नमोभिः प्रति स्तोमं सरस्वति जुषस्व । तव शर्मन्प्रियतमे दधाना उप स्थेयाम शरणं न वृक्षम् ॥
imā́ juhvānā yuṣmád ā namo-bhíḥ práti stómaṃ sarasvati juṣasva | táva śárman priya-táme dádhānā úpa stheyāma śaráṇaṃ ná vṛkṣám ||
आम्ही, उंचावलेल्या हातांनी, तुझ्याचकडून आलेल्या नमस्कारांसह, हे सरस्वती, हा स्तोम (स्तुती-गीत) स्वीकार; यात प्रसन्न हो। तुझ्या अत्यंत प्रिय शर्मन् (आश्रय-शांती) धारण करून, आम्ही तुझ्या जवळ येऊन स्थिर राहो—जसे आश्रयासाठी वृक्षाजवळ उभे राहतात तसे।
