चनिष्टं देवा ओषधीष्वप्सु यद्योग्या अश्नवैथे ऋषीणाम् । पुरूणि रत्ना दधतौ न्यस्मे अनु पूर्वाणि चख्यथुर्युगानि ॥

caniṣṭáṃ devā́ óṣadhīṣv apsú yád yogyā́ aśnávaithé ṛ́ṣīṇām | purū́ṇi rátnā dádhatau ny àsmé ánu pū́rvāṇi cakhyathur yugā́ni ||

हे देवांनो, औषधींमध्ये आणि जलांमध्ये तुम्ही अत्यंत निकटतेने—ऋषींनी जिंकण्यास योग्य अशा ‘योग्य’ वस्तू प्राप्त करता. तुम्ही अनेक रत्ने आमच्यात ठेवता, आणि क्रमाने पूर्वीची युगे आम्हाला दाखवता—जेणेकरून प्राचीन कर्मे वर्तमान प्रवासासाठी ज्ञान ठरावीत.
