Sukta 7.56
सं यद्धनन्त मन्युभिर्जनासः शूरा यह्वीष्वोषधीषु विक्षु । अध स्मा नो मरुतो रुद्रियासस्त्रातारो भूत पृतनास्वर्यः ॥
sáṃ yád dhánanta manyúbhir jánāsaḥ śūrā́ yahvī́ṣv óṣadhīṣu vikṣú | ádha smā no maruto rudriyāsas trā́tāro bhūta pṛ́tanāsv aryáḥ ||
जेव्हा क्रोधाने प्रेरित झालेले मनुष्य एकत्र प्रहार करतात—प्रबळ प्रवाहांमध्ये, औषधींमध्ये आणि जनसमूहांत वीर होऊन—तेव्हा, हे रुद्रज मरुतांनो, रणांत आमचे रक्षक व्हा, हे आर्य (श्रेष्ठ) जनांनो।
