Sukta 7.38
उदु ष्य देवः सविता ययाम हिरण्ययीममतिं यामशिश्रेत् । नूनं भगो हव्यो मानुषेभिर्वि यो रत्ना पुरूवसुर्दधाति ॥
údu ṣyá deváḥ savitā́ yayāma hiraṇyáyīm amátiṃ yā́m áśiśret | nūnáṃ bhágo hávyo mā́nuṣebhir ví yó rátnā puru-vásur dádhāti ||
हा देव सविता वर उगवला आहे; त्याने सुवर्णमयी अमति—विचारशक्ती—प्रवाहात आणून गती दिली आहे. आता मनुष्यांनी आह्वान करावयाचा भग, जो पुरुवसु—अनेक संपत्तीचा धारक—आहे, रत्न-धन वितरीत करतो; ज्याच्या अंतःकरणात अनेक ऐश्वर्ये नांदतात.
