एवा वसिष्ठ इन्द्रमूतये नॄन्कृष्टीनां वृषभं सुते गृणाति । सहस्रिण उप नो माहि वाजान्यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥

evā́ vasiṣṭhá índram ūtáye nṝ́n kṛṣṭīnā́ṁ vṛṣabháṁ suté gṛṇāti | sahasríṇa úpa no māhi vā́jān yūyáṁ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sádā naḥ ||

अशा रीतीने वसिष्ठ, सुते—दाबलेल्या सोमात—आमच्या सहाय्यासाठी इंद्राचे स्तवन करतो: तो जनांचा वृषभ आहे. सहस्रगुण बल-समृद्धी आमच्याजवळ आण; आणि आम्हाला सदा स्वस्तिभिः—कल्याण-स्थितींनी—रक्षित ठेव.
