वि मे कर्णा पतयतो वि चक्षुर्वीदं ज्योतिर्हृदय आहितं यत् । वि मे मनश्चरति दूरआधीः किं स्विद्वक्ष्यामि किमु नू मनिष्ये ॥
ví me kárṇā patayato ví cákṣur ví ídaṃ jyótir hṛ́daya ā́hitaṃ yát | ví me mánas carati dūrā́dhīḥ kíṃ svíd vakṣyā́mi kím u nū́ maniṣye ||
माझे कान उघडून पसरतात, माझी दृष्टी विस्तारते; कारण ही ज्योती हृदयात स्थापित केली आहे. माझे मन दूरवर पोहोचणाऱ्या विचारांत संचारते—मी खरे तर काय उच्चारू, आणि आता अंतरी काय मनन करू?
