Sukta 6.37
इन्द्रो वाजस्य स्थविरस्य दातेन्द्रो गीर्भिर्वर्धतां वृद्धमहाः । इन्द्रो वृत्रं हनिष्ठो अस्तु सत्वा ता सूरिः पृणति तूतुजानः ॥
índro vā́jasya sthávirasya dāténdro gīrbhír vardhatāṃ vṛ́ddhamahāḥ | índro vṛtráṃ hániṣṭho astu sátvā́ ā́ tā́ sūríḥ pṛṇati tū́tujānaḥ ||
इंद्र हा बल-समृद्धीचा स्थिर व दृढ दाता आहे; आमच्या गिर् (प्रेरित स्तुती) यांनी—वृद्धमहा:—इंद्र अधिकाधिक वाढो. वृत्र-हननात इंद्र सर्वात समर्थ सत्त्व असो; मग सूरी, तूतुजान (उत्साहाने प्रेरित) होऊन, त्या प्रचुरतेने आम्हाला परिपूर्ण करतो.
