Sukta 6.20
शतैरपद्रन्पणय इन्द्रात्र दशोणये कवयेऽर्कसातौ । वधैः शुष्णस्याशुषस्य मायाः पित्वो नारिरेचीत्किं चन प्र ॥
śatáir apadran paṇáya índrā́tra daśóṇaye kaváye ’rka-sā́tau | vadháiḥ śúṣṇasyāśúṣasya māyā́ḥ pitvó nā́rirecīt kíṃ caná prá ||
हे इंद्रा! अर्क-सातौ (प्रकाशमय स्तोत्र-विजयात) दशशक्तीच्या कवीसमोर पणी येथे शेकड्यांनी पळून गेले. प्रवाह रोखणाऱ्या त्या शुष्णाच्या मायांना तुझ्या वधांनी असे पराभूत केले की आत्म-समृद्धी (पित्व) यांतून किंचितही क्षय घडवू शकल्या नाहीत.
