Sukta 5.65
युवं मित्रेमं जनं यतथः सं च नयथः । मा मघोनः परि ख्यतं मो अस्माकमृषीणां गोपीथे न उरुष्यतम् ॥
yuváṃ mitrā́ imaṃ jánam yátathaḥ sáṃ ca nayathaḥ | mā maghónaḥ pári khyatam mó asmā́kam ṛ́ṣīṇāṃ gopīthé na uruṣyatam ||
हे मित्र-वरुणा, तुम्ही दोघेही या जनाला यथायोग्य मार्गी लावता आणि एकत्रित गतीत नेताता. हे मघोनः (समृद्धिदाते), आमच्यापासून दूर राहू नका; आमच्या ऋषींसह आम्हाला गोपीथ (रक्षण-आश्रय) मध्ये जपा, आणि आम्हाला व्यापक व सुरक्षित करा.
