इमं यज्ञमिदं वचो जुजुषाण उपागहि । मर्तासस्त्वा समिधान हवामहे मृळीकाय हवामहे ॥
Transliteration
imáṃ yajñám idáṃ vácō jujuṣāṇá upā́gahi | mártāsas tvā samidhāna havāmahe mṛḷīkā́ya havāmahe ||
Translation
हा यज्ञ, हे वचन स्वीकारून—हे (अग्नी), जवळ ये. हे समिध्यमान (प्रज्वलित) अग्ने, आम्ही मर्त्य तुला हाक देतो; मृळीक—कल्याणकारी, आरोग्यदायी कृपेसाठी तुला हाक देतो.
