Sukta 10.1
अत उ त्वा पितुभृतो जनित्रीरन्नावृधं प्रति चरन्त्यन्नैः । ता ईं प्रत्येषि पुनरन्यरूपा असि त्वं विक्षु मानुषीषु होता ॥
áta u tvā pitú-bhṛ́to jánitrīr annā-vṛ́dhaṁ práti caranty annáiḥ | tā́ īm práty eṣi púnar anyá-rūpā ási tváṁ vikṣú mā́nuṣīṣu hótā ||
म्हणून पोषण करणाऱ्या माता—पोषक शक्ती धारण करून—अन्नांसह तुझ्याकडे येतात, हे अंत:रसाने वाढणाऱ्या! तूही त्यांना प्रत्युत्तर देत पुन्हा पुन्हा प्राप्त होतोस, नित्य नवे नवे रूप धारण करून; मानवी कुलांमध्ये तू होता—आह्वान करणारा पुरोहित—आहेस.
