शरत्प्रवेशे रामविलापः तथा सुग्रीवप्रमादे लक्ष्मणप्रेषणम्
Autumn’s Onset: Rama’s Lament and Lakshmana Sent to Sugriva
व्यभ्रं नभश्शस्त्रविधौतवर्णंकृशप्रवाहानि नदीजलानि।कह्लारशीताः पवनाः प्रवान्तितमोविमुक्ताश्च दिशः प्रकाशाः।।
vyabhraṃ nabhaḥ śastravidhautavarṇaṃ kṛśapravāhāni nadījalāni | kahlāraśītāḥ pavanāḥ pravānti tamovimuktāś ca diśaḥ prakāśāḥ ||
मेघरहित आकाश शस्त्र धुऊन उजळावे तसे झळकत आहे; नद्यांचे पाणी कृश प्रवाहाने वाहत आहे; कुमुदांनी शीतल झालेले वारे वाहत आहेत; आणि तमोमुक्त दिशा स्वच्छ प्रकाशमान आहेत॥
'Cleared of the black clouds, the sky is shining like a polished weapon. The river waters flow feebly. Winds blowing over white lotuses feel cool. All quarters clear of darkness are shining.
