अश्वमेधप्रवृत्तिः
Commencement and Performance of Daśaratha’s Aśvamedha
अन्नं हि विधिवत्साधु प्रशंसन्ति द्विजर्षभा:।अहो तृप्ता: स्म भद्रं ते इति शुश्राव राघव:।।।।
annaṁ hi vidhivat sādhu praśaṁsanti dvijarṣabhāḥ |
aho tṛptāḥ sma bhadraṁ te iti śuśrāva rāghavaḥ ||
विधिपूर्वक उत्तम रीतीने सिद्ध केलेले अन्न चाखून द्विजश्रेष्ठांनी त्याची प्रशंसा केली व म्हणाले—“अहो! आम्ही तृप्त झालो; तुझे कल्याण होवो।” असे राघवाने ऐकले।
While brahmins were being served with food by well-dressed men, some others wearing pendents studded with shining jewels assisted them.
