भरतस्य मातृसदनगमनं कैकेय्या दारुणवृत्तान्तकथनं च

तदिदं न विभात्यद्य विहीनं तेन धीमता।व्योमेव शशिना हीनमप्च्छुष्क इव सागरः।।2.72.20।।

tad idaṃ na vibhāty adya vihīnaṃ tena dhīmatā | vyomeva śaśinā hīnam apcchuṣka iva sāgaraḥ || 2.72.20 ||

आज त्या धीमान राजाविना हे सर्व तेजस्वी भासत नाही—जसे चंद्रहीन आकाश, किंवा जल आटल्यावरचा समुद्र।
