सीताहरणोत्तरं लङ्काप्रवेशः
Sita’s Abduction and Ravana’s Entry into Lanka
स तु सीतां विवेष्टन्तीमङ्केनादाय रावणः।।।।प्रविवेश पुरीं लङ्कां रूपिणीं मृत्युमात्मनः।
sa tu sītāṃ viveṣṭantīm aṅkenādāya rāvaṇaḥ |
praviveśa purīṃ laṅkāṃ rūpiṇīṃ mṛtyum ātmanaḥ ||
परंतु रावण छटपटणाऱ्या सीतेला आपल्या बाहूच्या अंकात घेऊन लंकेच्या नगरीत प्रवेशला—जणू तीच त्याच्या स्वतःच्या मृत्यूची मूर्त प्रतिमा होती।
Ravana entered the city of Lanka holding Sita who was tossing from side to side and who was the very embodiment of his death.
