The Vision of the Illusory Deer
तयाऽऽहूतौ नरव्याघ्रौ वैदेह्या रामलक्ष्मणौ।वीक्षमाणौ तु तौ देशं तदा ददृशतुर्मृगम्।।।।
tayāhūtau naravyāghrau vaidehyā rāmalakṣmaṇau |
vīkṣamāṇau tu tau deśaṃ tadā dadṛśatur mṛgam || 3.43.03 ||
वैदेहीने बोलाविल्यामुळे ते दोघे नरव्याघ्र—राम व लक्ष्मण—तो प्रदेश पाहात पाहात तेव्हा त्या मृगाला पाहू लागले।
O Lakshmana! kings who wield bows in hunting expeditions kill deer in the forest forsport as well as for venison.
