dhanur-vyādita-dīptāsyaṃ śarārciṣam amarṣaṇam | cāpa-bāṇa-dharaṃ tīkṣṇaṃ śatru-sainya-prahāriṇam || rājyaṃ sukhaṃ ca santyajya jīvitaṃ ceṣṭam ātmanaḥ | nātyāsādayituṃ tāta rāmāntakam ihārhasi ||
तात, राज्य व सुख सोडून, स्वतःचे प्रिय जीवनही त्यागून, येथे मृत्यूसमान श्रीरामाजवळ अतिशय जवळ जाऊ नकोस। त्यांचे धनुष्य ज्वलंत उघड्या मुखासारखे, बाण अग्निशिखांसारखे; ते क्रोधात प्रचंड, पराक्रमात तीक्ष्ण आणि शत्रुसैन्यांचा संहार करणारे आहेत।
Immeasurable indeed is the power of Rama to whom Sita, daughter of Janaka belongs. You are not competent to kidnap her, for she is under the refuge of Rama's bow in the forest.
