पञ्चाप्सरो-सरः कथनम् तथा अगस्त्याश्रममार्गनिर्देशः

क्वचित्परिदशान्मासानेकं संवत्सरं क्वचित्।।3.11.25।।क्वचिच्छ चतुरो मासान् पञ्च षट्चापरान्क्वचित्।अपरत्राधिकं मासादप्यर्धमधिकं क्वचित्।।3.11.26।।त्रीन्मासानष्टमासांश्च राघवो न्यवसत्सुखम्।
kvacit paridaśān māsān ekaṃ saṃvatsaraṃ kvacit || 3.11.25 ||
kvacit ca caturo māsān pañca ṣaṭ cāparān kvacit |
aparatrādhikaṃ māsād apy ardham adhikaṃ kvacit || 3.11.26 ||
trīn māsān aṣṭamāsāṃś ca rāghavo nyavasat sukham |
कधी दहा-दहा महिने, कधी एक संवत्सर, कधी चार महिने, कधी पाच-सहा महिने; कुठे महिन्याहून अधिक, कुठे अर्धा महिना अधिक—अशा रीतीने राघवाने विविध मुनींच्या आश्रमांत तीन महिने व आठ महिनेपर्यंतही, वनवास-धर्म पाळीत सुखाने निवास केला।
