ऋषिरुवाच । तपस्विनो धर्म्मपथस्थितस्य द्विजसत्तम । किं न पश्यसि मे ब्रह्मन्क्षताच्छाकरसं सृतम्

ṛṣiruvāca | tapasvino dharmmapathasthitasya dvijasattama | kiṃ na paśyasi me brahmankṣatācchākarasaṃ sṛtam

ऋषी म्हणाले—“हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! आपण तपस्वी असून धर्मपथावर स्थित आहात. हे ब्राह्मण, माझ्या जखमेतून ऊसाचा रस वाहतो आहे, हे तुम्हाला दिसत नाही काय?”
